I had to put some more pictures up because yesterday they had their first meal of weetabix. It was a messy affair, and one that is to be repeated
twice a day for the next week and then 3 times a day! We warmed up two bowls of weetabix and put the puppies round the bowls and encouraged
them to eat. Not that they needed much encouragement as you can see by the pictures. The end result was 9 tired out puppies, needing a wash!
We had a bit of a conveyor belt going on to the kitchen sink, washing and drying the puppies and returning them to mum in the bed. Actually it
was quite fun, but it was the first time and I am sure the novelty will quickly wear off! They did have a bit of trouble with standing up on the newspaper,
as they are still a little unsteady on their feet, but I think they will quickly grow stronger when they know that there is food about!
